Chedworth Roman Villa

We had an incredible time at the Roman Villa. The children handled artefacts, dressed up as Roman slaves and looked at the remains of the Roman Villa.

A natural source of water found by the Romans for heating, bathing, drinking and cooking.

Underfloor heating.

Year 3 slaves working hard to produce a medicine for their owner.

To think a Roman person would have handled these...

Piecing the past together.

Sandfield Farm visit

We visited Sandfield Farm and had a great time - our topic is all about the Romans so we created Mosaics using natural materials that we had found at the farm. Which one do you like the best?
We looked at how our roads are built today and discussed how they were built in the Roman times.

Move out the way, roller coming through!
